Regional Project Officer

a.    Overall in charge for project management in the states

b.    Strengthen systems in place at the state and district level

c.    Provide ongoing technical support to state and district

d.    Undertake regular monitoring visit to the state and district

e.    Collect and consolidate monthly progress report from the respective state

f.     Organize and conduct quarterly review meetings at the state and if required at the district

g.    Coordinate with the project state units of the other consortium partners

 

Skills /Qualification required.

·         Post graduate degree in social work/social science.

·         At least five years of experience in implementation of projects.

·         At least two  years experience  in  a managerial position

·         Good knowledge on HIV/AIDS issues

·         Good communication skill in English (Oral and written). Working knowledge of Hindi and other languages would  be an added advantage

·         Coordinating and networking skills

·         Basic knowledge on computers

Preference will be given to people living with HIV with similar qualification and experience.
