MAMTA – Health Institute for Mother and Child (www.mamta-himc.org & www.yrshr.org ) is seeking to recruit a medical professional for mid /senior level position (depending on experience).

Job Description/Responsibility
1. Provide relevant technical support to the organisation as well as project teams
2. Facilitate implementation of appropriate strategies in capacity building in identified technical areas
3. Assist to organize and participate actively in meetings and desk reviews on technical issues
4. Provide support to the process of technical reviews of health project through the preparation of internal documents to assess progress of implementation
5. Provide linkage to ensure functional flow of information through effective use of all communication media: written, verbal and electronic within the project team and with funding agencies.
6. Support capacity building of the staff on thematic issues
7. Contribute to program and technical documents and reports
8. Engage with other team members in review, revision and development of technical guidelines, training content, tools or job aides


Desired Profile and Work Experience of the Candidate
• A medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate degree in Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Public health or Community Medicine
• Experience in the public health /development sector preferable
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written English)
• Should have good understanding of the public health system and interest to work on the development sector
• Openness to travel to different states in the country
Remuneration will commensurate with the qualification and experience.
