Secretarial Assistant--IPosted date: 28-Jul-2010
Location: Guwhati
Under the direction and supervision of the Regional Project Manager, the Secretarial Assistant will be responsible for day to day secretarial and administration activities.
Specific Responsibilities
· Provide support in day to day secretarial and administration activities related to Round 9 project. · Provide support in organization of project related travel and meetings, workshops, etc. · Handle various project related files & folders and ensure their proper maintenance. · Undertake typing job related to various correspondences and put up drafts. · Assist in follow up actions related to project related matters. Maintain calendars for Regional Project Manager · Perform any other related duties, as necessary.
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University; • 2 years of experience as secretarial assistant, especially managing official correspondence and interactions.
Skills
• Shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. and typing speed of 30 w.p.m.; • Track record of undertaking a range of tasks simultaneously, adherence to time lines and ensuring delivery of quality drafts, etc • Good written and verbal communication skills in English • Good interpersonal skills including professionalism and a cooperative attitude • Proficiency in standard MS Office Suite Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
