GIS Expert/Planner

1. Position Title: GIS Expert

2. Location: Hyderabad

3. Job Description and Responsibilities:

CENPAP is a development research organisation engaged in providing research and policy inputs to government and donor agencies. We are currently on the look out for urban sector professionals to strengthen our urban management unit. Selected candidates will undertake the action research of the city civic amenities, slum development and urban planning in govt funded projects.

4.Education/Professional Qualifications/Experience:

B.E/B.Tech (Civil) with specialization in use of remote sensing/GIS technologies and autocad in urban planning and development. Experience in urban planning, infrastructure and strong understanding in GIS integrated MIS for urban management. Prior experience with municipal projects is an added advantage. Or Masters or Doctoral degree in Urban Planning/Social Sciences with working knowledge in GIS with proven skills in capacity building, consulting and knowledge support for local governments. Experience in infrastructure development projects in Government sector is desirable. 

5. Language Skills

Fluency in English and working knowledge in Hindi.

The position is contractual and can be extended based on performance.
