Operating Environment:

The SRF Foundation (www.srf-foundation.org), formerly known as the Society for Education and Welfare Development, was primarily set up by SRF Limited (www.srf.com), with the intention of providing support and relief to the needy in the fields of education, to run and maintain schools, colleges, and to promote fine art and culture. It has been built on the heritage and vision of its founders; late Sir Shri Ram and the late Dr Bharat Ram, believing in contributing to society in the areas of education, with the establishment of educational institutions as the Lady Shri Ram College, Shri Ram College of Commerce, The Shri Ram Schools; among many others in Delhi.

One of the initiatives under SRF Foundation is Shri Sambandh which offers need based academic services like teacher training, curriculum designing, conducting learning camps, teaching learning materials preparations, leadership training, designing of co-curricular programs, evaluation of academic performance and providing institutional support to the partners (Govt, Private, NGOs, Trusts, Foundations) running education programs and schools for children.

 

To ensure effective interventions in teacher and institutional capacity building to both, privileged and underprivileged schools across the country by imparting training.

Responsibilities

·         In the role of Resource Person – Shri Sambandh to undertake teacher training programs, by visiting the schools / school clusters located in rural areas and urban slums.

·         As a member of the resource team, take ownership in developing training manuals, academic resource kit, process documentation etc

·         Engage the targeted school teachers in collaborative manner in organizing subject content and planning its delivery

·         Visit the schools and provide on site support to the teachers in teaching learning process

·         Assess the student and teacher performance in respective subjects and classes

·         Interact and assist the teachers on regular basis in sharing the best practices / problem areas

·         Help the teachers in creating their own teaching learning materials by using the low-cost and no-cost materials available in their own environment.

·         Browse and map the resources of subject concern available on net to share with the teachers

·         Assist the teachers in creating 21st Century classroom and teaching learning process

·         Document the best practices demonstrated by the teachers and students and share with rest of the education community
